Pavese Law Firm Congratulates Christina Schwinn on 20 years in Florida Bar

Pavese Law Firm congratulates partner Christina Harris Schwinn on reaching a milestone of 20 years since her admittance to the Florida Bar on Sept. 27, 1991. During her 20 years as a member of the Florida Bar and prior to joining the Pavese Law Firm, Schwinn served as general counsel for two national professional employer organizations, i.e. The Vincam Group, Inc. which is known today as ADP/TotalSource and HR Logic, Inc.  Additionally, she served as a national vice president for AIG Risk Management, Inc. in the mid 1990’s.  Currently a partner at Pavese Law Firm, Schwinn’s primary practice areas are employment law, business transactions, community association law and real estate law. She is an accomplished presenter and speaker and regularly writes articles on employment and business law topics for local and national publications.

Prior to attending law school, Schwinn worked in commercial banking for a Nevada Bank handling commercial and real estate loan workouts. Following law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduate law school at the University of Miami where she obtained a Masters of Law in Real Property Development and Finance Law, Schwinn entered the corporate world rather than private practice, In June 2005, Schwinn joined Pavese Law Firm as an associate and became a partner in January 2009.

“It seems like yesterday that I was waiting for the much-anticipated letter from The Florida Bar that would announce whether I passed or failed the two-day bar exam when in reality it has been more than 20 years since I took the Florida Bar Exam. Reflecting on the past 20 years, my advice to young and experienced attorneys alike is: Do not be afraid of detours and be open to new opportunities as you never know where they might lead. Change is a reality of life.  To be successful, one has to be open to new ideas, technology and be willing to adapt to an ever-changing environment.”

“On behalf of Pavese Law Firm, we congratulate Christina on this important milestone in her distinguished career,” says Charles Mann, co-managing partner at Pavese Law Firm. “Christina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our firm and clients, particularly in the increasingly important field of employment law. We are fortunate to have her as a member of our team.”
