Commercial Real Estate/Development Law Attorney

Pavese Law Firm is seeking a full-time associate in its Fort Myers office who desires a legal career in the fields of commercial real estate and developer representation.  This position offers an opportunity for an associate to work creatively with developers that are shaping the real estate landscape in Southwest Florida and to hone their legal skills.

Applicants should expect to be working on commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of developers, lenders and equity investors in various joint venture agreements.

  • The ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of commercial real estate and development experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic.

Legal Assistant

We are seeking a full time Legal Assistant with a desire to join a well-established law firm supporting an attorney in our Litigation Department. Our firm offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Must have 10+ years prior litigation experience.
  • Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of case management.
  • E-Filing in State and Federal Courts.
  • Submit intake information, conflict checks, and open & close files.
  • Maintain attorney’s calendar, tickler, including scheduling and time entry.
  • Maintain confidential information, files, records, legal documents, and reports.
  • Experience preferred in navigating case management software (Client Profiles, n/k/a Aderant Total Office).
  • Preparing, proofreading, revising, and finalizing legal documents as directed by attorney.
  • Effective organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects.
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with clients, opposing counsel, courts and other agencies.
  • Maintain professional (business casual) appearance and attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
