Pavese Law Firm is seeking an attorney in its Fort Myers office who has a passion for working with others on Real Estate matters, commercial and residential, and who desires to work with others in the ever-changing dynamic area of Community Association Management.  Both areas of the law provide an opportunity for the attorney to make an impact and grow professionally.

  • The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience.
  • Must be ambitious, high energy and ready to work on the development and operation of Southwest Florida’s premier real estate development.

Commercial Real Estate/Development Law Attorney

Pavese Law Firm is seeking a full-time associate in its Fort Myers office who desires a legal career in the fields of commercial real estate and developer representation.  This position offers an opportunity for an associate to work creatively with developers that are shaping the real estate landscape in Southwest Florida and to hone their legal skills.

Applicants should expect to be working on commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of developers, lenders and equity investors in various joint venture agreements.

  • The ideal candidates will have 2-5 years of commercial real estate and development experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic.

Legal Assistant – Litigation

Pavese Law Firm is seeking a full time Legal Assistant with a desire to join a well-established law firm supporting our Litigation practice.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Must have 10+ years prior litigation experience in a legal office environment.
  • Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of case management.
  • E-Filing in State and Federal Courts.
  • Submit intake information, conflict checks, and open & close files.
  • Maintain attorney’s calendar, tickler, including scheduling and time entry.
  • Maintain confidential information, files, records, legal documents, and reports.
  • Experience preferred in navigating case management software (Client Profiles, n/k/a Aderant Total Office).
  • Preparing, proofreading, revising, and finalizing legal documents as directed by attorney.
  • Effective organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects.
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with clients, opposing counsel, courts and other agencies.
  • Maintain professional (business casual) appearance and attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

Real Estate Clerk

Pavese Law Firm is recruiting for a full-time Real Estate Clerk with a desire to join a well-established law firm. The real estate clerk will be supporting our real estate practice area handling day-to-day administrative duties.  Real estate experience helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform office administrative tasks assigned by the real estate team.
  • Proofread, revise, and finalize documents as directed by attorneys.
  • Complete conflict checks, open files, and process time entry.
  • Maintain confidential information, files, records, and documents.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Maintains professional appearance and attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects.
  • Effective interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, professional staff, and peers.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
