Christopher Pope Earns Board Certification in Real Estate

Pavese Law Firm is proud to announce that attorney Christopher L. Pope has earned Board Certification in Real Estate Law from the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization & Education. Mr. Pope is now triple Board Certified, having also earned Board Certification in Construction Law and Condominium and Planned Development Law. He is one of only 2 attorneys in the State of Florida to be recognized with all three certifications.

Board Certification identifies attorneys as having special knowledge, skills, and proficiency, as well as a reputation for professionalism and ethics. Established by the Florida Supreme Court, Board Certification is conferred upon lawyers by the most credible and highest authority over the State’s legal community, The Florida Bar. Board Certification is Florida’s official, independent determination of a lawyer’s expertise to practice in a specialty field of law. With fewer than 7% of eligible lawyers earning Board Certification, it is considered the gold standard for Florida lawyers, representing a recognition by a lawyer’s peers that they have attained a level of professional expertise in their chosen fields.

Mr. Pope joined the Pavese Law Firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2018. He has substantial experience in real estate transactions, construction, and the operation of community associations. He represents top national homebuilders, contractors, developers, commercial associations, and homeowners’ and condominium associations. Mr. Pope is also an Adjunct Instructor for the College of Engineering at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he teaches Construction Law and Contracts.
