
Katy Tougas joined Pavese Law Firm in 2017 after having been a Police Officer for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Police Department for 18 years, whose positions held during her career were EMT, Federally trained Criminal Investigator, and many years as a K-9 Officer and ultimately retired as a Captain with the Department. She brings a vast array of knowledge and management skills to the Firm.
Katy manages both our Records Department as well as many aspects of the building facilities for the Firm.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating all aspects of our records, including storage for both onsite and offsite, including maintaining our vault inventory. Katy also handles the proper destruction of records required by the firm, including tracking in our systems. In addition, she oversees the facilities for the three offices and handles the services required to maintain each of our offices’ facilities, making sure our licenses and systems such as our fire systems and HVAC systems are all current and functioning correctly. Katy also supports and maintains our phone system throughout our three offices and assists with maintaining the firm’s law library.
