GOVERNOR DESANTIS’S STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR TROPICAL STORM ELSA HAS EXPIRED

Executive Order 21-150 was issued on July 3, 2021, declaring a 60-day state of emergency for Tropical Storm Elsa in certain Florida counties, including Lee, Collier and Charlotte Counties. The State of Emergency for Tropical Storm Elsa was not extended and has now expired, so the 90-day clock for filing for State of Emergency time extensions on development orders is ticking.

Should you need assistance in filing for a state of emergency time extension for your state and local permits when the SOE ends, please contact one of our Land Use, Development and Environmental Attorneys at (239) 334-2195 or via email.
