The 60-minute webinar will review the interviewing and hiring process, with a specific focus on criminal background checks in accordance with EEOC guidance under the federal civil rights laws.
What does “Ban the Box” mean?
- Prohibits employers from asking criminal history questions on job applications and in first job interviews.
- Does not prohibit inquiry after a conditional offer of employment is made.
