Dillon L. McColgan

Dillon L. McColgan joined Pavese Law Firm as an associate in 2021. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Real Estate Development, Community Association and Planned Development Law, Construction Law, Title Insurance, and Civil Litigation.

Prior to joining Pavese Law Firm, Mr. McColgan’s practice primarily focused on Insurance Defense, Commercial, and Fiduciary Litigation. Now he brings this experience to our seasoned Real Estate and Community Association Groups, assisting clients through a wide variety of legal issues relating to real estate, development, construction, and contract disputes. This broad experience and knowledge, combined with his dedication to providing top-tier client service, results in quality representation while assisting clients accomplish their goals.

He is a University of Central Florida alum, earning his degree in Political Science with a Pre-Law focus in 2013. He continued his scholastic career by attending law school at the University of Miami. While there he gained hands-on experience by interning at the Third District Court of Appeal, participating in the school’s Investor Rights Clinic, and earning honors in Miami’s Litigation Skills Program. He graduated cum laude from the University Of Miami School Of Law in 2017, and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.

Mr. McColgan has considered Southwest Florida home for over 17 years, after moving to Cape Coral in 2004. In his free time, he enjoys watching Formula One racing, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Kristina, and their two dogs.

Mr. McColgan is a member of the Florida Bar and the Lee County Bar Association.
