“I am pleased to write to you concerning the nomination of Katie Oppenheimer for your fellowship program. I have known her for over a year in her capacity as a Zoning Manager for NB&C and represent a planning department through the intermediate design review and again at zoning hearings. From our first meeting, she already understood out land use regulations and was familiar with our approvals process. The level of preparation, knowledge and performance she exhibits puts her in an operational category with the best professional planning consultants and land use attorneys that I work with, many of which have several more years of experience in working in planning or development-related fields.”
“Katie has a terrific attitude and is an asset to any project or initiative. Whenever asked, Katie provides quick and accurate reports of project status, milestones, and other necessary reports. Katie continued to take on multiple projects as a Zoning Manager for several sites across dozens of jurisdictions in the Baltimore/Washington area. She consistently obtained approvals and permits in record time! She fosters relationships, not only with her clients, but just as importantly, she makes important connections with the staff of numerous jurisdictions. These contacts are the most valuable contacts for any Zoning Manager.”
“Katie did excellent work while with the firm. Very dedicated and loyal Manager, with a top-tier work ethic. Worked well with others and provided superb customer service to one of our most important clients. She brought a professionalism and great enthusiasm to the project, and was a valued and trusted colleague. She is responsible and thorough – a real pleasure to work with! She is also a hard-working, detail-oriented, self-starter who is a true asset to any project or organization she becomes affiliated with.”
Greatest strengths/assets: Her preparation, knowledge, performance, personable, responsible, good value, high integrity, enthusiasm, professionalism, and hard-working.
