Jon Skelton believes in “Giving Back.”  He is involved with the Florida Equal Justice Center, Inc., where he has assisted the organization with a complicated tax issue.  He has been supporting the organization for the past year.

Attorney Skelton was contacted by this non-profit agency and offered his pro bono assistance without hesitation.  Monica Laude, of the Florida Equal Justice Center indicated that one issue was resolved within a week.  The expense to resolve this issue would have been prohibitive.

In another situation, his support on an identity theft situation saved an indigent client from paying taxes on over $100,000 in income that wasn’t his.  Attorney Laude has indicated that this identity theft was extremely serious and couldn’t have been resolved without Skelton’s assistance.
