Biography 

William T. Haverfield II joined Pavese Law Firm in 1969 and was the managing partner from 1990 until 2011. He practices in the area of family law, with a focus on original dissolution of marriage proceedings. He has substantial experience in complex marital litigation, including business valuations and real estate appraisal issues related to dissolution of marriage.

Mr. Haverfield has tried a wide variety of civil cases and was certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar from 1983 to 1999. Since 1985, he has been certified as a Marital and Family Lawyer and is one of the first attorneys in Florida to receive this certification.

He is a member of the Lee County Bar Association and was a member of The Association of Trial Lawyers of America for thirty five years.

He is a founding member and Master (Emeritus Senior Status), Calusa Inn of Court, a chapter of the American Inns of Court, an organization dedicated to advancing the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar. Mr. Haverfield also served as chapter president from 2004 – 2005.

Mr. Haverfield has had an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for over 25 years.
